I am still enjoying the new Impression Obsession spring stamp collection. You can see all their new stamps in the Stamps category on the What’s New page. Here are some new samples that I made recently.
Faithful Friend – Impression Obsession stamps Splatter 1 and 2 and Failfthful Friend; Taylored Expressions die Banner Stacklets 2; design inspired by Vicky Garrett
Love the splat stamps! They make such a quick, and in this case colorful, background.
Daisy Basket – Impression Obsession stamp Daisy Basket; Impression Obsession dies Rectangle 6-in-1-frame; Spellbinders dies Petite Ovals Scalloped and Classic; design inspired by Jenny Gropp
Years ago, before flowers were readily available in the grocery store, I would frequently go to neighborhood flower shop and buy a bunch of daisies to brighten my apartment. These daisies are colored with Copic markers.
Rest and Relaxation – Impression Obsession stamps Tree 3, Hammock and Rest and Relaxation; design inspired by Impression Obsession
This stair step card is made with specialty cardstock.
Tip: To add depth to your scene, stamp the tree once then stamp a second time without reinking. In this case it's best to wipe ink off the trunk or your tree may look a little strange with 2 trunks!
Children playing on a seesaw can really take you back to your childhood. I stamped and embossed the Seesaw (Impression Obsession) in black then added the "ground" by sponging Memento Pear Tart ink and grass cut with My Favorite Things Fresh Grass die. The sky was sponged with Memento Summer Sky ink using Taylored Expressions Cloud Border die as a stencil. The sentiment is also from Impression Obsession.
I hope you will stop in soon and see all the new stamps from Impression Obsession and many other companies.
