Humane Society Fund Raiser
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 01, 2015
Hello Members and Friends. Today I am presenting you with an opportunity to help me raise money for our local Humane Society. I have made a series of cards which will be for sale at the store for $5.00 each.
I invite you to join me in donating cards you’ve made. Although the cards I am showing here have a dog or cat theme, you can donate any type of card (birthday, thinking of you, etc.) made with stamps, dies, papers or other papercrafting supplies. All cards need to be A2 size (5½” x 4¼”), signed on the back with your name and phone number (optional). I will supply envelopes and cellophane sleeves.
What’s in it for you? Other than knowing that you are helping improve the lives of helpless animals, I will reward you with 20% off any one item in the store when you donate 3 or more cards to the sale. Please bring your best work so these cards will sell fast! If you want to copy my cards, please do – all paper supplies are in stock now. If you need more inspiration, please visit our Cat and Dog Gallery here. And if you want to make cards here at the store, attend our Dog and Cat Card Class on Saturday, October 10 at 10am and 2pm. (Cards made in class do not have to be donated -- that's totally up to you).
Deadline: October 31
If you can’t donate cards please stop in and buy some! Or just write a check! If you have a stamping club, consider devoting one meeting to making cards for Humne Society. You'll have fun and raise money at the same time!
All cards shown were created using Authentique's Devoted paper line and dies by Poppy, Taylored Expressions, Memory Box and Impression Obsession.
If you have any questions, please call Polly at 915-833-9500. All cards not sold will be donated to the shelter for their use.
I hope to see you and your cards soon!
Dog for Adoption
A customer just emailed me with information about a Shih Tzu who needs a good home. The dog has a fractured pelvis but the orthopedic veterinarian feels the pelvis will heal and the dog will have a normal life (maybe with a little limp). If you are interested in learning more about this dog, please contact me at 915-833-9500 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
